Life Currently
Since my miscarriage and the D&C, life has been gradually getting better. It was very rough for a while, however. Up until February, we were living with roommates. The roommates were very good, old friends and I thought living with them would be fun, except it just turned to disaster. The crazy thing about it is, it went downhill after I told her about my pregnancy and miscarriage. She decided she didn’t like my boyfriend anymore and that he was weird. o.O Oh and she also told me to have a great life working at Zaxbys, what a great ex-bff! :D
In February, we moved into my boyfriend’s parents basement, which was an hour away from Athens (where we were before), so my bf quit his job. We weren’t going to have to pay rent here, so it was okay. I kept my job because it was about mid distance between Athens & Snellville, and because I’m no idiot, I needed an income until I found another job. My mom then was able to get me on with her company (Alcon) about a month later. So now, I make more money than my bf and I were making together working at Zaxbys (and showed that bitch up cause I’m working somewhere better than her). :)
My BF still is unemployed, but it’s only because he’s been pretty sick. However, the past week he has really stepped up with making an effort to get better and change our lives. He has stopped smoking cannabis (self medicating) and has taken up other methods recommended by the doctor. Also, he got accepted into college for the fall! It is only a 2-yr degree and it will be in Computer Networking, so I think he will potentially make good money. :) Along with college, he will be getting at least a part time job, even if he is only making as much as he used to, we will be bringing in a good amount together. I am going to get him to attend school during the summer months as well, to finish earlier. Once my bf gets a job and is enrolled in school, we will begin looking for an apartment, or even better, a house to rent, so that we can move out of his parent’s house.
The best part, IMO, about all of this good fortune and change, is that we discussed the whole marriage and pregnancy scenario. Within the next 2 years, I will (unless something changes) be getting married and TTC. :D The sooner things start happening, the sooner we will start. I’m just so excited. I wanted it to happen sooner, but hey, I can’t really complain about 1-2 years, i guess.
